New Freighter for Cathay Pacific

 

The Hong Kong-based carrier Cathay Pacific Airways has taken delivery of its first Boeing 747-8 Freighter.
The airline is the first operator in the Asia Pacific region and the second globally to take delivery of Boeing's newest freighter.

Cathay Pacific has ordered a total of 10 747-8's which are expected to replace its 747-400 cargo fleet. The airline currently operates six 747-400 Freighters, six 747-400ER Freighters and eight 747-400BCFs.
