767-300ER for Mongolian Airlines

MIAT Mongolian Airlines takes delivery of first direct purchase 767-300ER.
Mongolia's flag carrier completed the historic order in 2011 at the U.S. State Department in Washington, DC, marking the first time in more than two decades that the airline purchased Boeing aircraft instead of leasing them.

The company has three 767-300ER´s on order and two Boeing 737-800s to be delivered in 2013 and 2016´respectively.

The airline officially obtained National Air Flag Carrier status on 25 February 2013. In same year, the airline was awarded a 3-star airline level by Skytrax.
